Personally, I don't mind the wait; heck if it's a buddy points auction, I'm glad to get the merchandise for free.

If I recall correctly, the Dallas address is not somewhere eBid have staff. Having a staffed address in the US would cost far more than would be saved by not sending US packages from the UK - especially as the items in question are free for the recipient.

How about a fulfillment center in USA (preferably in the Dallas vicinity). This could enhance "presence" and possibly increase USA visibility for eBid.

I do not mind waiting either. But I "pay" for mine's with buddy points, sweat, time, bidder's anxiety, etc.

It would probably turn out to be made in China for the American company, just like so much else these days. Probably the same Chinese company as they are likely to come from already.

My eBid shirt is made by "fruit of the loom" which i think is an American company, My shirt says "made in Morocco".
