Building on the gold idea, and Cornish's mention of glitter... how about just "shiny"? Lots of things are shiny, it's quite a short word to fit in a title, it doesn't have any other meaning or baggage like gold does, and we could use it in promo phrases like "help us put the shine on our charity auctions this month by taking part in etc".
What about linking it to the Olympics?
