Brainstorming for YDC 100 !!!

Sarah (aka Raindropsies) is on the ball,
and reminded me that YDC 100 will be with us in June 2012! (insert large gulp here)

So, are we game for something a little bit special?

My first thoughts are........100 sellers for YDC 100!
Gazza & Mark are on board, and so far, have volunteered to give 2 buddy points to everyone who lists.

Please feel free to throw any ideas into the melting pot......or even put your name forward for the "eBid 100".
Any new ebidders reading? Like to join in with YDC (Your Donation Counts)?

It would be quite fun to do a theme again like we did for the BCC strawberry tea auctions. Maybe we could do lime and blackcurrent for the eBid colours ?

What if we get 100 sellers, and those 100 sellers list 2012 auctions between them. Have 2012 as a limit or a target??????

Or have all auctions start at 100p / c / etc and run for 20 days 12 hours

Get admin to give 20.12p per auction to the nominated charity rather than 2 buddy points per seller

Sarah - that would mean the sellers would have to list approximately TWENTY items each. Good suggestion but I think it's a wee bit too much to expect of sellers. I will join in wholeheartedly (if I'm no' deid) but I for one cannot afford that level of benevolence.

I think if there's a theme it should work around 100 somehow. I don't think the year works - it's not a particularly useful number. 100 makes me think "gold" so maybe that could be the theme? Not just the precious metal, obviously! Anything with that in the name, or coloured or whatever. Or with 100 in the title some how. But I do think gold would be a good marketing angle if we could come up with enough things. I can probably do gold nail varnish. ;o)

Yes, I did think of that (honestly, you don't need to shout at me ) but not many marriages make it to 100 so I decided the anniversary thing didn't matter, and 100 still made me think gold - but I might just be weird.
