Thread: Gazza - now you've opened up eBid to Buyers from around the world.

Default Gazza - now you've opened up eBid to Buyers from around the world.

Any chance of integrating Moneybookers with eBid please, as they cover more countries than any other payment service?

    Paypal doesn't cover all countries
Google Checkout only Germany UK & USA
    Amazon Payments USA only
    Pppay UK & Europe

I know, moneybookers can be shown as a payment option, but proper integration, & therefore the ability to use eBid invoicing, would make things easier, for those sellers that choose to offer it.

Funny you should mention that - I have just been thinking about offering that as a payment option. Maybe I'll wait and see if it does get integrated before editing

I've offered it since I joined, & no takers so far, but the original eBid countries, plus most of those that have been added since,(not 100% sure about India) are all covered by paypal. Now a wider range of people are able to join, it makes sense to me to expand the payment options to cover them all.

I'm not sure how difficult it will be to implement, but Amazon Payments was integrated into the US site only, without any major drama, so I don't suppose it would be too difficult.

on the main site I sell on I get slightly over 60% of my payments via moneybooker now and most of my "big" buyers use it to pay me so around 75% of my monies come to me that way.... and from my point of view it is much better as the fees are much lower (even with having to pay a % to withdraw my money)

So Moneybookers doesn't automatically deposit your funds to your bank account? What is the percentage rate?

no they dont, but then neither does P/pal

What does it cost to withdraw money?
Withdraw money via bank transfer: € 1.80 flat fee (today that would be £1.50)
Withdraw money via cheque: € 3.50 flat fee
Withdraw money via credit/debit card (Visa only): € 1.80 flat fee

One other alternative is Alertpay, they are a Canadian operation who last time I checked were potentially more usefull than Moneybookers; as they covered India which MB didn't at the time.

Default Pleeeze GAZZA - Another Moneybookers Integration Request

Any chance of integrating Moneybookers with eBid please, as they cover more countries than any other payment service?
I agree, it would be most useful especially as I am in the process of removing Paypal and Google checkout from my Ebid listings. It can only encourage Buyers and that is the name of the game.

Yes please Gazza I would like to see Moneybookers intergrated too. I already offer it but people would probably use it a lot more if it was intergrated. It's very popular on another site I use.

Is that the site that has the 'wallet' thingy for payment. If it was that site I had to pay £25 or so to have my payment options showing to my buyers.

I have bought from there but haven't got round to listing stuff yet (apart from Annie's keyrings)
