While I haven't had a use for this feature as yet, I can see where it would be a good addition. Voting yes.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
I think allowing a SELLER to revise the QUANTITY lower, in the event the buyer inadvertently bought more than 1, but really wanted only 1, is fine. I don't think 0 (a full cancellation) should be allowed without an official eBid review process, wherebyt they can keep track of buyers who abuse the process -- much like FeeBay's RESOLVE A PROBLEM process.
No, I need it without eBid mediating.

I disagree. Not good for sellers..
Also nobody will take anybody serious anymore..
much better the way it is now
I actually don't see a problem with sellers being able to adjust the quantity on an invoice if the buyer requests it and the change is reflected correctly in eBid's records for fixed price transactions. I do see the potential for abuse, however.
I'm afraid that when it comes to auctions manipulation after the hammer drops could lead to complications. There are issues with accusations of shilling and other improprieties that could present a problem. After all, selling at auction involves competition between bidders. Any changes after the fact is almost sure to raise a question in the mind of the under bidder.
I still believe there is a strong need for this, and the pros outweigh the cons. *bump*
It is definitely required or "What Kim says"

I can't say that I see an absolute need for such a button to comply with UK DSR requirements. While businesses based in the UK may be required to adhere to them, eBid is a venue and not the actual business engaged in the sale. Would the landlord of an office building housing the office of a mail order business have anything to do with them complying with the law? It is up to the business to operate within the law.
By the way, US businesses do not operate under the same DSR requirements as the UK. I can't see where such an option would be advantageous to US sellers. Nor would I think such an option be consistent with most laws governing the conduct of an auction.
Of course, businesses must operate within the law of their respective jurisdictions.
