Plugging your ebay listings in your ebid auction descrioptions

I was browesing today on ebid and I realize that their are people that sell on other websites as well as ebid. But I thought that including a link to your auctions, that you are selling on ebay was prohibited on ebid ?

Help me understand this please!

Report report report. They dont allow other sites links to be added to their sites, so why should eBid show links to other sites. Me thinks il have to start reporting again, going through listings as if I had nowt better to do....

What I find amusing about this is...........there have been several threads in the past where people have been praised, and in many case, encouraged to do it the other way round.

Frankly, I don't know of any ecommerce site that permits sellers to put links in their listings to competing ecommerce sites.

The posts that I read were about discussing (i.e. "plugging") eBid on the #^$Bay forums. Most of those threads get deleted quite quickly.

I don't recall anyone suggesting that they do it in the actual auction listings. That's a no-no on any site.
