I was going to get a new pair of glasses, but decided that if I can see as far away as Mars then the current pair must be OK. I mean...just how far do I want to be able to see?

You sure thats not just a one eyed cat at the bottom of your garden Ken?

Nah the local moggy has two eyes I keep trying to hit between them

LizzyA I suspect that you are grossly overexposing them, when you think about it the Moon is just a big reflector illuminated by the sun, so expose for what you would a piece of card lying flat in your garden on a sunny day. A good starting point is 1/100 f8 ISO100 I presume you can manually set your camera.
