Oleg Arkadyevich Eremeev (1922-2016) - Soviet and Russian painter, pedagogue, professor. Academician of the Russian Academy of Architecture, People's Artist of the Russian Federation. Great Patriotic War veteran, fought on the South-Western and Fourth Ukrainian fronts. From the late 1950s he taught at the I. E. Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Head of the Department of Drawing, Head of the Personal Painting Workshop, 1990-2001 rector.
