Wanderin’ Five - SOMERSET S 186 - “Come On In - We're Pickin' And Singin' Folk Songs”. The record is in very good to excellent condition. The jacket has some writing on the front, otherwise fine. I do not have much information on this group except that I'd bet one of the female lead singers here is Jean Ritchie, and if not, somebody that sounds incredibly like her, and in any case this is great Appalachian folk/bluegrass. P.S. In a recent online search I discovered that Ritchie has allegedly finally acknowledged her participation in this group, as well as stating Judy Collins did as well. The males here are likely Clarence Cooper and Eric Weissberg, both of the Tarriers, also according to Ritchie.
