Vladimir Mikhailovich Konashevich (1888-1963), artist and graphic artist, master of book illustration. He began his training at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture, where Konstantin Korovin, Sergei Malyutin, and Leonid Pasternak were his mentors. In 1915 Konashevich moved to Petrograd. Almost half a century of the artists life and creative activity are connected with North Palmyra.
