Canadian-made documentary about lies and misinformation's regarding recent phenomena of naming the German concentration camps built during WWII on the territory of Poland.
The call for making such film came from Poles living in Canada. Being sick and tired of constant "mistakes" about German concentration camps ("mistakenly" and so often labeled "Polish camps"), the Polish organizations abroad together with Polish Foreign Affairs Ministry under Minister Anna Fotyga have co-funded creation of this film. Direction went to Polish-Canadian TV reporter Violetta Kardynal and producer and TV presenter of Canadian OMNI TV, Wojciech Sniegowski.
The premiere was scheduled for November 11, 2007 - the holiday of Polish Independence - and film was to be distributed afterwards to the medias abroad by Polish Embassies and Consulates worldwide. It was part of official Polish government's campaign against calling German concentration camps left by German after WWII in Poland and calling them "Polish concentration camps".
