The New Julian calendar (also Revised Julian calendar) is an improved form of the Julian calendar based on the cyclic rotation of the Earth around the Sun; the length of the year is 365.242222 days; contains 218 leap years in 900 years. The calendar was developed in 1923 by the Serbian astronomer, professor of mathematics and celestial mechanics at the University of Belgrade, Milutin Milanković.

The New Julian calendar is used by 10 of the 16 autocephalous Eastern Orthodox churches, including the Orthodox Church of Ukraine from September 1, 2023.
