"TRI-REST" MANUFACTURED PRODUCT;
TRIUMPH PRE-UNIT DUPLEX FRAME TOP STUD AND NUTS AND SPRING WASHERS - TO FIX FRONT FRAME TO REAR SUB-FRAME ON DUPLEX FRAME MODELS 1960-62 6T TR6 T110 T120.
This stud is to fix the rear sub-frame to the front frame. Used at the top of dulplex frame 1960-62 models, 6T, TR6, T110 and T120. It is also used on unit models such as 3TA, 5TA and T100 etc. Interestingly this stud is sized as per the original stud - 3/8" cei x 3.7/8" overall long. All others I have seen on are 4" long, which are 1/8" longer than original. If you want the stud to be as per the original specification, then this is the stud you need. The stud includes two 3/8" cei nuts and two 3/8" spring washers. The stud is hand-made in England on a lathe. All bright zinc plated.
Triumph part numbers;
- Stud (1) - 82-2842 (F2842) - 3/8" x 3.7/8" overall length.
- Nuts (2) - S1-52, 3/8" cei 26tpi half/lock nut. Bar-turned single chamfer.
- Spring washers (2) - S26-1, 3/8" internal diameter.
