A great comic performance by the star of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Court Jester, Hans Christian Anderson, White Christmas, The Five Pennies, and many more wonderful movies of the mid-Twentieth Century. This is a golden oldie with Danny Kaye, Walter Slezak, Elsa Lancaster, and many others. This is a true tour de farce, with one laugh coming behind another unless it's during a moment of suspense. Like any Danny Kaye flick, there's always the routine where you wonder why his tang doesn't get al tongueled up with his rapid-fire monologues. This is a truly classic Danny Kaye.
