They were to be issued from 1976 to 1984, but I do not know if the set was ever completed.
The series had a mintage of 10,161 each medal, but mintages were reduced during 1979 and 1981 when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market, driving silver to $50.00 an ounce, and many Franklin Mint silver items were melted and sets not completed.
This is a must for any Silver Medal or Franklin Mint collector.
The medal has some stains and I am letting the buyer decide on cleaning.
The complete set would have contained 96 Troy ounces.
