Beschreibung (Anbieter)
This is a very old used colour postcard of The Old Village, Shanklin, IW, posted in Shanklin on 14 July 1967 and the card still has the 3d stamp attached. The writer was staying at Maraba?, St. Georges Road, Shanklin and there is a short narrative on the reverse - "collection of beautifully maintained thatched cottages which formed part of the original village of Shanklin". It is a Plastichrome Post Card by W J Nigh & Sons Ltd, Ventnor and Shanklin, IW, numbered WJN1187 and apart from small partial creases at the bottom corners and a little franking near the top, the card is in otherwise very good condition.
