Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1956 Edward L. Cahn Musical SHAKE, RATTLE AND R-O-C-K! starring Fats Domino. Joe Turner, Choker Campbell and His Band, Tommy Charles, Annita Ray, Lisa Gaye, Touch Connors and Sterling Holloway.
A group of concerned adults try to ban rock and roll music in their town because they think that the music promotes juvenile delinquency. It's now up to a disc jockey and a hipster to defend the music in a televised trial. The movie also features several rock and roll performances, most notably from Fats Domino.
On the Reverse is the 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1956 Gregory Ratoff Comedy ABDULLA THE GREAT, based on the novel "My Kingdom for a Woman" by Ismet Regeila and starring Gregory Ratoff, Kay Kendall, Marina Berti and Sydney Chaplin.
The lusty king (Gregory Ratoff) of a country on the Nile kidnaps an English model (Kay Kendall) away from his chief adviser (Sydney Chaplin).
