New, old stock Lucas 271735 / TAB125 (ICN) starter motor brush set for most Lucas M45G Self Indexing and Pre-Engage models. The original worn box has been opened and is missing one end lid.
This was used from around the mid 1950s well into the 1960s and 70s. Applications include a great many light and medium diesel engined commercial vehicles of that period, BMC, Commer, etc. Far too many to list. Any diesel engined Land-Rover from 1958 onwards using a model M45G 26147 self-indexing motor will need this brush set. Also a few petrol engined cars, e.g. Rover 3.5L P5B and Three Thousand Five between 1968 and 72; Rolls, Bentley Shadow, T-type c1970-75, Jaguar Series III E-type 1971-73.
