Resistor 6M8 Ohm ?% 0.25W 250V Panclimatic DEF-5112 Welwyn C21 Pyrolytic carbon film deposited onto a high grade ceramic rod. Turned brass end caps with wires crimped and soldered. The body is coated with an extremely hard lacquer to exclude moisture.
Low noise and high stability makes them ideal resistors for use in audio electronics. Range also used in AVO products.

Datasheets from here. This has been stored loose in a drawer for many years so may have some cosmetic marks. It is marked 15 GD not C21 but is same size as C21.
Body Size (mm) 15 long 3.6 dia. Tested with DMM (+/-1% + 1 digit accuracy) and indicate 6.98M 7.0M Ohm. Price is for 2
