Reinhold Begas (July 15, 1831 to August 3, 1911) is the famous German sculptor of the second half of the nineteenth century, an outstanding master of the non-arched style. Reinhold Begas is rightly considered the greatest representative of the Berlin School of Sculptural Art, and his finest masterpieces adorn the squares of Berlin and many other German cities.
