A sampler of French artists on a disc called le Disquair Day: “Music Delicatessen from french regions” which includes fourteen tracks from Pat Bol, Vero Sego, Oslo Swan, Moussu T E lei Jovents, Chapelier Fou, The Inspector Cluzo, Angil and the Hiddentracks, Charivari, Destijl, Annie Ebrel/Gilles Le Bigot/Davy Spillane, C.R. Avery, Filewile, Nolwenn Korbell, and the Kora Jazz Trio. This one does not seem to have come from a major label and is, as stated, French.

Fréquences Le Disquaire

Proudly independent record store in the province of Québec, more precisely in the nice downtown area of Saint-Hyacinthe. A 30-45 minutes drive from Montreal, Fréquences Le Disquaire is carrying pop and rock, metal, hip hop, reggae, jazz, world, funk, soul, classical and many more. Recent releases as well as reissues on vinyl & cds and always putting the emphasis on supporting independent labels and artists. Not just a record store, Fréquences is also a place where people stop by to say hi to us and Kenya our sweet dog, talk about music & arts, have some homemade punch during boxing day, meet and form bands, etc. We're a part of the community and proud of it...
