Great *RARE* antique fine binding hardback book from 1827 by Sir Walter Scott containing essays on chivalry, romance and drama. Photos 2 & 3 show a missing section on the bottom of the cover spine and a split at the top of the cover spine. Photo 18 shows a split on the cover spine edge (viewed from the inside cover) but does not impact on the page binding inside. Photo 4 shows the lovely marbled page edges. Pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is 197 years old

Measures 21.5cm tall x 13.5cm wide x 3.25cm thick. Weighs 700 grams.
