Great *RARE* antique fine binding book from 1804 by A F Fourcroy on "a general system of chemical knowledge and it's application to the phenomena of nature and art". This is volume 5 only of the original 11 volumes but each volume has separate subjects (see photos of content pages for full details). This volume covers "Metals". Photo 20 shows a gap in the binding between two pages but binding feels good. Photo 21 shows a section of the leather spine cover missing at the top but  page binding and pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 219 years old.

Measures 22.5cm tall x 14.5cm wide.
