*RARE* 1767 "THE SPECTATOR" VOL 8 #556-635 ADDISON STEELE ANTIQUE BOOK (P3)

Great *RARE* antique leather small hardback book from 1767 containing issues of The Spectator "papers". Volume 8 only and contains paper #556 (18 June 1714) to #635 (20 Dec 1714). Photo 19 shows that page 203 is partially detached but if you look at the text and page edge gap, it looks like the text was printed with the page partially detached so looks as if this page has been like this since it was printed. Photo 20 shows cracking down the front cover spine edge but cover feels okay opening and closing and this does not impact on page binding inside. Photo 21 shows a previous owner's logo on the inside cover.  Other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 258 years old.

Measures 17.75cm tall x 10.5cm wide x 2.5cm thick. Weighs 280 grams.
