Portugal c1892 -sg242a 20r lilac - enamelled paper? see details, used (ref 223)

When held up to the light, the stamp shows a shiny surface. I do not know enough about Portuguese stamps to determine if this indicates it has been printed on enamelled paper, but this listing is on the basis that enamelled paper has been used. If, on receipt of the stamp, the buyer disagrees, please contact me as soon as possible so that an amicable solution can be reached.

If the stamp is on enamelled paper, the auction price is quite low! 

The stamp has a couple of creases.

General perforation conditions can be seen in the above image. Abbreviations used in my listings are:-

(a) UMM = unmounted mint = MNH mint never hinged 
(b) MM = mounted mint = hinged mint. MM may also be used for stamps that would be UMM except for a small amount of gum disturbance approximating to a light stamp hinge effect on the gum.
(c) LMM = lightly mounted mint
(d) VLMM = very lightly mounted mint
(e) MNG = mint but no gum
(f) used = used
