Watch won’t wind up.
Picador Oval Pendant (or Pocket) Watch
As found in a box from a yard sale, thus I don’t know the history of this item. I can’t find any like this online so I have nothing to compare it to. It looks like a lovely timepiece.
On the face of the watch it says Picador and London. I can’t see any other names or benchmarks on this piece.
There are some stains on the rear of the case. The watch glass has a small scratch, about ¼ of an inch long and a few pit marks. As I stated above I can’t wind this watch, the stem rotates OK and when you pull it out you can change the time on the watch.
The watch measures approximately 2 inches (50 mm) (from the bottom of the watch to the top of the winding stem) X 1-3/8 inches (35.5 mm) wide X ½ inch (12.7 mm) deep.
The watch weighs 1.2 ounces (36 gr).
