The enterprise, passed down to his sons and grandsons, lasted until 1918. The book is dedicated to famous Russian bell founders and bells and is a true encyclopedia of the history of bells in Russia. The author describes masterpieces of bell-casting art that were located in the Moscow Kremlin, Rostov Kremlin, Yaroslavl, and Uglich.
