Original circa 1914 12 1/8 inch x 9 1/2 inch Etching titled O MISTRESS MINE
The title comes from William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” - “O Mistress mine where are you roaming?”.
Signed and dated in the plate. Etched by F. Huth
After Edwin Austin Abbey (1824 - 1904). An American muralist, illustrator, and painter. He flourished at the beginning of what is now referred to as the "golden age" of illustration, and is best known for his drawings and paintings of Shakespearean and Victorian subjects.
