Musée de Dunkerque Tableau de Virginie Demont-Breton. JEAN BART early 20th C Art

This is a vintage original Art postcard from early 20th C. that belonged to my late grandfather. Artist Mm Virginie Demont-Breton. France. The image depicts a scene from the life of Jean Bart, a renowned French privateer and naval commander from Dunkirk (1650-1702). The print shows Jean Bart recruiting fishermen in Dunkirk to join him in battle, specifically to serve on his galley "Le Roi David". Publisher C.A. Unposted, rear is unrwitten. Size 141 x 91 mm. It is in Good condition for age, see scans (which clearly show ALL edges). For protection it will be posted in an acid free plastic sleeve in a "Do not bend" card backed envelope. Elec00Sc watermark is NOT on item.
