This is a very old used black & white/sepia postcard of East Bay, Mallaig & The Isle of Eigg, posted in Mallaig on 9 June 1945 and the card still has the King George VI 2d stamp attached. It is a Valentines Real Photograph Series Post Card, by Valentine & Sons Ltd, Dundee and London and the card is in very good condition – no creases or obvious marks (other than the imprint of the franking stamp showing through slowly),with only very slight scuffing to some corners.
