STB024 This is rare official hand signed first day cover celebrating the Anniversary of D-Day and showing a historic painting by Frank Wootton OBE of the planes over France on D-Day taking victory and hand signed by D-Day veteran hero Lt Col Terence Otway and which has been fully certified by the publishers (see scan including the large frank of how it is personally autographed by Terence Otway) and is in mint condition.
Lieutenant Colonel Terence Brandram Hastings Otway DSO, was an officer in the British Army, best known for his role as commander of the paratroop assault on the Merville Battery on D-Day.
