BLEMISHED - VIOLET CHINTZ - sugar bowl – LEFTON
This is a BLEMISHED SUGAR BOWL in the famous VIOLET CHINTZ pattern. It is made by LEFTON China and decorated with gold trim, tiny violets and green leaves. The sugar bowl is approximately 4 ¼" tall (to top of finial).
This is handpainted with the well known blue and gold crown like those used 1956-1967 and the number NE661V on the bottom.
This blemished bowl appears to be in fair condition as I find no cracks, crazing or gold loss but there is a ¼" chip on the inside edge of the rim and the finial has been broken off and glued on.
This could be good for a child to have a piece like grandma or mommy has without the concern of it getting broke.
