Le Bureau de Postes, Molliens-Vidame, Somme, c.1916 - Caron CPA

Printed monochrome postcard showing a view of the post office at Molliens-Vidame in Somme, France. The town name has been censored and the note reads: "No 1 is the door of the yard in which our barn is. No 2 is the place rigged up for our baths." It seems highly likely that the card was sent by a British troop on his way to the front line of the Battle of the Somme, as many were billeted in Molliens-Vidame for a few days in August of 1916.
