Original 1940s 10 inch x 8 inch Paris Etching Society reprinted etching of 2 ladies, one giving flowers to her friend, in the latest fashion of the 1880s from LA MODE ILLUSTREE, Bureaux du Journal 56 rue Jacob - Paris.
”La Mode Illustrée” was published from the 1860s to the early 20th-Century, weekly on Sundays, with illustrations and descriptions of Victorian fashions and the latest must have accessories and there was always a fashion plate.
Published by Sidney Z. Lucas for the Paris Etching Society. His initials are visible inside a small blue circle within the lower right corner of the artwork.
