History of Cities and Villages of the Ukrainian SSR. Crimean Region. In Russian/Istoriya gorodov i sel Ukrainskoy SSR. Krymskaya oblast. The proposed book is an integral part of the 26-volume edition of the History of Cities and Villages of the Ukrainian SSR. It corresponds (with some additions and amendments) to the Crimean region, which was previously published in the Ukrainian language. Based on the Marxist-Leninist methodology, it generalizes a large source material on the history of settlements in the Crimean region from ancient times to the present day. The history of the region is given in close connection with the history of the great Russian and other fraternal peoples of the country.
