The Lunch Bag
Don’t throw away another brown paper bag! This simple design made out of cotton fabric is durable and sure to keep your lunch well protected. It is generously sized with a pocket on each side for cutlery and your cell phone or iPod™. Its’ soft handle makes transporting easy and stores flat or roles up. Best of all, this lunch bag can be made out of 4 fat quarters, which should leave you some change for a few groceries!
FINISHED DIMENSIONS ARE: H-11” W-8” D-3”

½ yard fabric or 2 fat quarters
½ yard lining or 2 fat quarters
½ yard interlining (thin cotton batting)
2” - 1” wide Velcro™
½ yard - ½” cord

Suitable Fabrics
We used cotton (Rowan Fabrics- Mod Girls, Joel Dewberry and Moda Fabrics-Eclectic.) Cotton flannel, velvet, corduroy and home dec fabrics would be suitable as well.
The instructions and pattern are printed on one side of a 22½” x 34” sheet of paper
