Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement for the 1948 Carol Reed Crime Drama FALLEN IDOL (THE LOST ILLUSION), based on a short story by Graham Greene and starring Ralph Richardson, Michèle Morgan, Sonia Dresdel, Bobby Henrey, Denis O’Dea, Jack Hawkins, Walter Fitzgerald, Dandy Nichols, Karel Stepanek, Torin Thatcher, Bernard Lee, James Hayter and Geoffrey Keen.

One of the jewels in Reed’s crown, made between Odd Man Out and The Third Man. He fashions a miniaturist masterpiece from Greene’s screenplay about an ambassador’s little boy (Henrey) who implicates his friend the butler (Richardson) in his wife’s death.

On the reverse is the 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1948 Lewis Allen Crime Drama SO EVIL MY LOVE, based on the novel by Joseph Shearing and starring Ray Milland, Ann Todd, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Leo G. Carroll, Raymond Huntley, Martita Hunt, Raymond Lovell, Moira Lister and Roderick Lovell.

Two-timing his girlfriend, Kitty (Moira Lister), con man Mark Bellis (Ray Milland) woos naive widow Olivia Harwood (Ann Todd), luring her into his latest criminal scheme. As directed by Mark, Olivia begins stealing from her employer, Susan Courtney (Geraldine Fitzgerald). Soon, Mark is after more loot from the Courtney household, and Olivia reluctantly agrees to blackmail Susan. But the plan isn't foolproof, and, when Olivia realizes Mark has another lover, things get even dicier.
