I am fairly sure that this pair of door check strap end covers came from one of the Minis I owned a long, long time ago. Very likely either a 1961 or 1964 model but I'm sure experts of the model will know or know the range of applicable model years. They would benefit from re-chroming or may be used as is. Distance between screw hole centres is 3/4 inch / 1.9 cm.
