9 Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 3/8 inch Black and White Stills for the 1955 Ralph Thomas Comedy DOCTOR AT SEA, written by Richard Gordon and starring Woody Allen, Diane Keaton, Tony Roberts, Jerry Lacy, Susan Anspach, Jennifer Salt, Joy Bang, Viva, Ted Markland, Michael Greene, Susanne Zenor, Diana Davila, Mari Fletcher, Mark Goddard and Tom Bullock.
A neurotic film critic, obsessed with the movie Casablanca, attempts to get over his wife leaving him by dating again with the help of a married couple and his illusory idol, Humphrey Bogart.
Stills by Ian Jeayes. Jeayes began work in the Camera Department at Sound City Shepperton, in 1933, as clapper boy. He then became a freelance photographer and in 1936 started work at Denham as a publicity photographer. After war service he joined the Stills Department at Denham.
The stills are in very good condition a with a brief synopsis tacked to the reverse of all the stills but one.
