The Swales pelham is often seen in showing, but has been making a comeback for showjumping and eventing The main feature of this pelham is the floating snaffle rings, which prevent any poll pressure. This is very useful for horses that tend to go overbent and then lean This bit also has a wide low port, which helps relieve tongue pressure This bit has a 12mm diamater mouthpeice and 75mm shanks lenth below the bit. The effective shank length from top of large ring where cheeks attach to bottom of lower curb ring is 182mm All Dimensions are approximate. Comes complete with curb chain
