Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1960 Anthony Mann Western CIMARRON, based on the novel by Edna Ferber and starring Glenn Ford, Maria Schell, Anne Baxter, Arthur O'Connell, Russ Tamblyn, Mercedes McCambridge, Vic Morrow, Charles McGraw, Harry Morgan, Aline MacMahon and Edgar Buchanan.

This epic remake of the 1931 Academy Award Best Picture begins with the Oklahoma Land Rush on 22 April 1889 and the growth of the Cravet family empire. With the Civil Rights Movement gaining momentum Arnold Schulman’s script took a kinder approach to Native Americans where Yancey Cravet spurns the opportunity to become governor as this would help defraud the indians of their land and oil.

The poster is in good folded condition. There is a very small piece out of the top left corner in the margin only. There are 2 one inch vertical tape marks at the top right and between them the showdate has been written in green ink and underlined in red ink.
