zx596 Antique collection of three cards all whom I believe are Billy Manders Quaintesques as all from the same collector in the same part of his album but I let you decide - one has a little age fading to please allow - some light places on the cards but these are all great unused condition - one is real photo - all are very early 1920s and a specialist themed listing of all very rare postcards.

Manders was a popular Rhyl-based female impersonator: he and his troupe 'The Quaintesques' were concert party entertainers from the early 1920's right up to World War II. Billie was a performer from a very early age and a a pioneer of 'glamour drag', presenting a less exaggerated female appearance.
