Mastered from the Original Studio Print. Martin and Lewis appear in their first starring roles as soldiers getting mixed up in all kinds of wild situations at their Army base. The highlight comes when the two of them imitate Bing Crosby and Barry Fitzgerald in a hilarious parody of Going My Way. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis get their first star pairing in this hilarious song-and-gag-filled comedy. The duo play Puccinelli and Korwin, pals who join the army and immediately get into a load of trouble on a military training base. Highlights include a sequence involving a noncooperative soda machine, Jerry Lewis performing "The Navy Gets the Gravy But the Army Gets the Beans," and the team's impersonation of the Bing Crosby-Barry Fitzgerald characters from the classic film GOING MY WAY.
