Fully Hallmarked for Sheffield, lion passant for sterling and date letter O for circa.1906

The makers mark is I.E over &S for Isaac Ellis and Sons.

The spreader measures approximately 18.6 cm in length x 1.7 cm widest width and weigh's 38.4 grams.

Beautifully carved acanthus patterned ornate mother of pearl handle with solid sterling silver blade and sterling silver collar. This fabulous antique butter spreader would be great for morning breakfast and would make a lovely addition to any table setting.
