Unclipped dust jacket has a small piece missing from the top of the spine, light shelf rubbing to corners and bottom of spine, foxing spots to front and rear of jacket, original price of 9s. 6d. net on inside front fly leaf. Jacket is in a protective sleeve.
Red cloth covered hardcovers in excellent condition with a little colour fading to the spine ends and edges.
Neat inscription “To My Darling Audrey June 1949” to the top of first end page, minor tear to top of first end page at the spine, a few foxing spots inside front and back covers, clean uncreased pages with very light tanning.
A very solid tightly bound book with no loose pages.
