Great vintage 1ST EDITION paperback book from 1994 containing the letters of Francis Wagstaffe to Bishops of the Church Of England. Photo 18 shows some pen writing on the inside cover but binding and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 31 years old.

Francis Wagstaffe came to see his life as essentially meaningless and as a result began a spiritual quest to discover the eternal truths that lie behind the superficialities of modern living. A chance meeting on a train with a Bishop led him to write to many of the Bishops of the Church of England as well as leading figures of Church and State seeking their wisdom and experience
