Great vintage 1ST EDITION small hardback book from 1946 by Geoffrey Hoyland on Headmaster Edward Thring of Upperham who had a new vision for education. Photo 16 shows pen writing from 1948 and pencil writing from a previous bookseller on the inside cover. Binding and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 79 years old.
