1946 1ST ED FIELD MARSHAL MONTGOMERY "EL ALAMEIN TO RIVER SANGRO" WW2 BOOK (P4)

Great vintage 1ST EDITION hardback book from 1946 by Field Marshall Sir Bernard L Montgomery on the WW2 activities of the 8th Army from El Alamein to the River Sangro. Contains lots of colour fold out military maps/charts. Photo 2 shows that the spine cover is missing. Photos 8 & 9 show staples on the crease and another photo shows staples keeping a fold-out map/chart stapled to the book. Binding feel absolutely fine though so bit surprised to see that. Photo 21 & 22 show evidence that an illustration or map/chart has been cut out which is the only example I have found flicking through a few times. Photo 23 shows water or moisture staining at the top of a few pages from many years ago but they are not stuck together.  Photo 24 shows a name in pen dated 1951 in Singapore. Other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 79 years old.
