"I, Johan Mathias Karel Pennink, of 9 Kenaustraat, Haarlem in the Kingdom of Holland, Engineer, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows: ...I arrange the generator so that the explosive mixture is produced within the rotary drums instead of without the apparatus, so as to prevent any explosion from taking place before the time, when it is wanted.  I further provide a device whereby liquid fuel may be employed for the production of the explosive mixture and ignited"
