Hi, I am putting together a 1/72 scale German Battalion and am looking for 5cm mortar teams in particular, but also other support weapons. I see that you have some panted metal figures. Do you also have unpainted figures? Thanks, Daryl

G'day Daryl, Nothing here in 1/72 unpainted 5cm mortars, sorry. Best i could suggest is GD07 from SHQ (UK), 2 moving, 2 firing 5cm mortar. ... ... I've put a couple of links which may also help. Let me know how you go, thanks , JES

JES Thanks for that, I appreciate the help. I am looking to get at least 9 mortar teams (or two men), so am trying not to overspent just on these figures alone. Thanks, Daryl

Have you thought about scratch building 5cm teams ? In the past I've modified the laying and other (non practical) figures to suit, just added thin nail and cut to length. As long as it looks accurate from a distance when on the table. Not sure if the links came through, the 1st was SHQ, the 2nd was plastic soldier review, handy if you want to see whats on the runners before purchasing.

JES, yes I have thought about scratch-building some mortars. I have the skills to do it but am rather time poor, so would prefer to buy ready- mades. Thanks for the links. I will look for them, but if not there, it seems that you have given me enough info to go on anyway. Daryl

Daryl, another handy site, " the miniatures page ". Has large list of supplier links plus helpful message boards. Very helpful group. Wish i could do more, sorry, JES
